Small Business Digitization Services is an initiative launched by WPI’s Business School to help small business owners maintain a digital presence throughout the pandemic and beyond. WPI Students pair up with different clients to address their business needs - for example, updating a storefront, improving SEO, etc.
So far I have worked on a few different projects. One is with a client, Judy Faust, who is promoting her local musician friend John Mariano’s music. Together we have worked on monthly campaigns/newsletters and discussed various strategies such as YouTube performance livestreams for attracting an online audience.
Another e-commerce project I have worked on with two other students is helping a local business, Moonwater Elixirs. Our client wanted to evaluate/update her Shopify website as well as improve SEO for different products. We as a team helped refurbish different aspects, such as navigation, product pages, review sections, etc.
